I went upto the upper part of the river, parking my car above Galphay Mill. I walked all the way down to the triple arch bridge with the little sliver of an island just downstream. I fished from here all the way up to the plantation just downstream of the ford.

Fishing was excellent, I landed 14 fish of all sizes, including one of 4/5 lb. I got them all on 2 grhe variants (with a special modification) I tied up last night. One of the flies got 12 of the fish, and amazingly, Lili tied it!

I did not see any other anglers, although I did spy some fresh tracks made by a fisherman down on the first 400 yards of my fishing. This was probably someone fishing up from Galphay Mill.

I got a Duckling as well! Actually, I caught the little thing as it was trying to hide from me. Don't worry though, it was unharmed and I put it straight back down after photoing it.
